EN: Giuliano Rodrigues aka GIVLIANNO began his contact with music in 2007. And of course, at the time completely in a curious, experimental and non-professional way. It was just “let’s see what happens”. From 2007 to 2008, Giuliano learned about basic music production programs, but there were enough programs to spark interest in HOW TO PRODUCE ELECTRONIC MUSIC. Going through eJay, Magix, Garage Band and finally in 2009, Logic Studio. However, it was only in 2011 that this Rio de Janeiro DJ took his music seriously professionally, taking his first music production course at AIMEC, at the very beginning of 2011. And in October 2012, he launched his first digital record label: FLOWING MOVEMENT MUSIC. Then he didn’t stop, he created other digital labels focusing on different electronic genres. PT: Giuliano Rodrigues aka GIVLIANNO iniciou seu contato com a música em 2007. E claro, na época totalmente de forma curiosa, experimental e não profissional. Era apenas um “vamos ver no que vai dar”. De 2007 pra 2008, Giuliano conheceu programas de produção musical básicos, porém eram os programas suficientes para despertar o interesse em COMO PRODUZIR MÚSICA ELETRÔNICA. Passando por eJay, Magix, Garage Band e finalmente em 2009, o Logic Studio. Mas, só foi em 2011, que esse DJ carioca foi levar à serio sua música profissionalmente, fazendo seu primeiro curso de produção musical na AIMEC, bem no início de 2011 mesmo. E em outubro de 2012, lançou sua primeira gravadora digital: A FLOWING MOVEMENT MUSIC. Aí ele não parou mais, criou outros selos digitais com foco em diferentes gêneros do eletrônico. FLOWING MOVEMENT MUSIC
EN: Created in 2012, Flowing Movement Music or rather, FMM, was Giuliano Rodrigues’ first digital record label. Created on October 1, 2012, the record label is based on conceptual, minimalistic sounds and, as the name suggests, sounds of movement. The idea when the record company started was to bring sounds that changed constantly. Bringing the idea of the water effect that when a stone falls into the lake the waves spread in evolution. In this context, Giuliano Rodrigues brought dub techno as the label’s main body. Sub-labels: (Techmal Records, Dubdeepmusik, DUB120, Ultra SLow Music, GR Label and Slowdownwave).
PT: Criada em 2012, Flowing Movement Music ou melhor, FMM, foi a primeira gravadora digital de Giuliano Rodrigues. Criada em 1 de outubro de 2012, a gravadora traz como base sons conceituais, minimalísticos e como o nome mesmo sugere, sons de movimento. A idéia quando se iniciou a gravadora, era trazer sons que mudassem constantemente. Trazendo a idéia do efeito de água que quando uma pedra cai no lago as ondas se espalham em evolução. Nesse contexto, Giuliano Rodrigues trouxe o dub techno como principal corpo da gravadora. Sub-labels: (Techmal Records, Dubdeepmusik, DUB120, Ultra SLow Music, GR Label e Slowdownwave).
DUBGIU
EN: Giuliano Rodrigues’ second largest record label after Flowing Movement Music. DUBGIU was created during the pandemic in 2020. Its first launch was in June of the same year. With digital distribution by DIG DIS. DUBGIU stands out in Europe’s electronic scene, which features music from deep house to dub techno and techno. It currently has over 50 releases and features several artists from the Techno, Deep and Dub Techno segments. DUBGIU has the Techno and Dub Techno genre as its main atmosphere in 90% of its tracks and has quickly stood out on Spotify playlists. Sub labels: (Dubaquatic, Dubcube and Dubtechno Store).
PT: A segunda maior gravadora de Giuliano Rodrigues depois da Flowing Movement Music. A DUBGIU foi criada na pandemia em 2020. Tendo seu primeiro lançamento em junho do mesmo ano. AFTERDUB
EN: Afterdub is Giuliano Rodrigues’ newest digital label. Created in 2023, the label’s focus is to bring a more lively, exciting Dub Techno and show that it is totally possible to be in the Dub universe without being reflective, down or silent. Here we practically have a body of tech house, however, with dub techno keyboards. This changes the identity as a whole and practically makes a new aspect emerge. Just as we have deep tech, we can easily call it dub tech here. An extremely new sound with a track feel, with the aim of making the difference happen with elegance and sophistication in each sound.
PT: Afterdub é o selo digital mais novo de Giuliano Rodrigues. Criada em 2023, o foco da label é trazer um Dub Techno mais animado, empolgante e mostrar que é totalmente possível estar no universo Dub sem ser reflexivo, down ou silencioso. Aqui praticamente temos um corpo do tech house porém, com teclados do dub techno. Isso muda a identidade como um todo e faz praticamente uma nova vertente surgir. Assim como temos o deep tech, podemos facilmente aqui chamar de dub tech. Um som extremamente novo com uma pegada de pista, com o objetivo de fazer o diferencial acontecer com elegância e sofisticação de cada som.

EN: I’m very suspicious to talk about, because I love DUB TECHNO. I know several DJs and producers in this style. But Giuliano definitely has one more. The funniest thing is that despite being DUB TECHNO, he brings something more danceable, because normally when he does this genre, he does something very calm and deep and he brings something completely out of the box.
PT: Eu sou bem suspeita pra falar, porque eu amo DUB TECHNO. Conheço vários DJs e produtores nessa pegada. Mas, o Giuliano tem um a mais com certeza. O mais engraçado é que apesar de ser DUB TECHNO, ele traz algo mais dançante, porque normalmente que faz esse gênero, faz algo muito calmo e profundo e ele traz algo totalmente fora da caixa.
